- Respiratory
- Unfortunately Olivia has not made much progress with her vent settings at this time – the steroids haven’t shown much effectiveness
- She’s halfway through the steroid course, so there’s still some time for her to hopefully get weaned down on some of her requirements
- She will get another chest x-ray to review her lungs
- Weight – 2.33K, or 5lbs 2oz
- She was given an ADEK vitamin supplement that unfortunately caused her to spit up
- Olivia is very awake, active and alert! The NP says this is unusual but very positive for a baby her age/size
- Max and Becky have been able to hold her lately
In other news:
- Olivia is allowed to sleep with blankets and her octopus only because she is currently on a ventilator. Don’t worry all, Mom and Dad know that she can’t have blankets or toys in her crib when she comes home.
