- Olivia turned 8 weeks old on Valentine’s Day! Mom and Dad spent the evening with their love, holding her for a few hours. She was very active and was looking around at them – she seems to be a night owl. She’s been able to be held for the last few days, which is wonderful.
- Olivia finished her 21st and final day of antibiotics on 2/14, and had a blood culture on 2/15 & 2/16. If these both come back negative, indicating that her infection is cleared up, she will be scheduled for the Piccolo Procedure to close her PDA in Children’s Hospital. Right now, we think it will take place early next week. We will hopefully hear back about the cultures on 2/17.
- Olivia’s current weight is 2110 grams, or 4lbs 10 oz! She looks much less puffy too.
